Baby Boy’s Room

We had such a fun time getting our baby boy’s room together! Â The room was more of a closet room before we started. I had my dresser and clothes all in there. We also had books and all of my art supplies. Just cleaning it out was a process! I had to get rid of a ton of clothes and shoes! But it feels so nice having less clutter! The painting process was a pain! All of our trim and windows were a funky color red so it all took a few coats of paint! Let’s just say I was beyond happy when I finished the windows! I pray I never have to paint windows like that again!
We have been slowly collecting things and planning for his room and we couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out! When I originally started looking at pinterest for ideas I found a bunch of things I loved! However, when I went online looking to purchase those things I quickly realized how expensive those items were! So we searched and shopped looking for deals! And I am very happy to say we found some awesome deals and were able to keep things low on the cost.

Dan’s Mom made this from sticks from our backyard!!
We had a lot of fun making these sun prints and frames! 
We also made these! It is the poem from the book called My Love Will Find You by Nancy Tillman!
Dan spent so many hours making this beautiful piece for above his changing table.
