Jenny & Jeremy at Kennedy Family Farms, Mechanicsburg, PA

Jenny and Jeremy’s wedding was full of many special things that made it represent them so well! We pulled up to see the beautiful Kennedy Family Farms and were super disappointed that it was raining! The venue is stunning! There were horses, goats, beautiful fields and so many areas to photograph! The girls got ready in the adorable, small white house while the men got ready down at the cabin! The mornings were full of smiles and excitement as everyone got dressed to a T.

You could say we were a little excited when the rain slowed down to a drizzle and the bride and groom were totally fine with going out in it! Jenny and Jeremy did a first look on this bridge down near the groom’s cabin. The bridge was a little slippery, well A LOT of slippery, so Brit may have taken a spill as we were helping the bride onto the bridge! Dan brought Jeremy up to the bridge blind folded and as you can see in the images it was a heartfelt first look!

As Jenny walked into the barn for their ceremony they had her cousin blow a conch shell which was is a Hawaiian tradition to mark the official beginning. They presented each other with leis to signify their love and respect and their commitment to each other. As their backdrop there were 1,000 white paper cranes hanging that Jenny and Jeremy made together. This was another tradition! Beside the white cranes were red cranes that Jenny’s parents had folded together for their wedding! “Folding a crane takes time, patience and understanding. These same qualities are vital for a marriage to last and thrive. A couple who could weather the long intensive folding process, supporting each other, talking with each other for weeks while taking on this challenge proves their ability to maintain a long-term, content relationship.”  We loved the way they incorporated all their family traditions and cultures!

The reception was so much fun! They started outside on the patio for some cocktails and games and then moved inside the barn to the breathtaking set up! All the glowing candles and lights, the green vines and roses, and the stunning details made the barn look magical. It was one of our favorites to date! The speeches and dances had everyone in stitches and in tears. The live band had the floor packed all night. There was a fun moment near the end when Jenny teamed up with Jeremy’s friends and “Iced” him when he was getting her garter off. It was a game they played with his friends that whenever someone was given an iced smirnoff they had to stop whatever they were doing, get down on a knee and chug it right where they were! So watching Jeremy chug his drink on the dance floor had the crowd going!

The rest of the night was amazing! We had such a wonderful day with them and their friends and families! We hope you enjoyed  Jenny and Jeremy’s wonderful day!
