Week 5 &6- Sky Zone, Shower & Lots of Weddings

Time has flown by and with how crazy life has been I have gotten behind with our day in the life blog! Here’s week 5 and 6! I hope you enjoy!

Week 5

Sunday

I came home from my weekend away for a friend’s bachelorette party. Needless to say, I missed my baby girl bad! I wouldn’t even let Dan hold her that night!

Monday & Wednesday

We started getting ready for Kendra’s Bridal Shower ( Dan’s sister) which was at our house on Sunday. Dan found a large wasp nest right near where we were going to do the shower so a friend of the family came over and got rid of it for us! We were SOOO thankful, especially because Dan is allergic.

Thursday

We decided we needed a break from work and cleaning the house so we met up with some friends and went to Sky Zone! It was so much fun! It was a little hard having Skyler with us but we took turns holding her! It made for a nice break!

Friday

Dan second shoot a wedding so Skyler and I spent some time with a friend! We went shopping and ate delicious food at Chilli’s and Kiwi! It was so awesome reconnecting and getting away the computer screen!

Sunday

Dan and I both shoot separate weddings on Saturday! It was a lot of fun but it was so different without being together! By Sunday we were spent but I was really excited to have Kendra’s Shower at our house! The girls all came over early and set up and it turned out to be a beautiful day!

Week 6

Week 6 was crazy for us! We did a really bad job of photographing it too : ( We were both in our friends wedding on Saturday and on Sunday we attended my cousin’s wedding! Dan and I kept saying how different it was to just attend. It was amazing to sit, eat delicious food, talk and dance the night away all without a camera in our hands! And we got to watch the amazing Caroline Logan Photography work her magic! The expression on my cousin’s face when he saw his bride was priceless! Skyler Rae finally got to meet most of my family and close friends as well! It was an amazing week!

Thanks so much for reading!

Love,

Brit & Dan
