Rachel & David-A Southern Charm Wedding

Rachel and David’s day was such a sweet day! The weather was beautiful, the venue was stunning and the guests were amazing! The morning started with the girls getting ready in the little cottage on the venue. All of Rachel’s details were subtle and beautiful. Her reveal to her dad was one I won’t forget! The love he has for his “little girl” was displayed all over his face when he first saw her, there may have even been some tears. A little while later before the ceremony David sent over a letter he had written to Rachel. She’s not much of a crier, I was told, but you could tell how much the letter meant to her. The guys got ready over in the barn and it was a special moment when David’s parents came and prayed with him. The ceremony was out in the garden under tall white pillars. Before the groom and bride walked out both of their bridal parties took a moment and prayed with them. David’s face lit up as Rachel came out the doors with her Dad with tears in her eyes. After the ceremony we explored the grounds and had a blast taking some fun photos! We even stopped so Rachel and David could play corn hole. Rachel let him win : ) In the barn was the reception that they decorated with their own special touch. The place looked breathtaking! The dances were so sweet as David twirled first Rachel and then his Mom around the dance floor. The speeches we hilarious and sweet.  There was even a surprise speech from David’s best friend who is in the army and wasn’t able to attend. They had a full cut out of him which was passed around all night so that people could get photos with him. The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night. They paused to do a few family traditions. The first one was they all had to do an Irish shot and the second was they shoot a cannon that David’s grandfather had built. They shoot is at every special celebration. The night came to a close as all of their friends and family surrounded them on the dance floor for one last dance. They finished a night with a magical kiss as they were running through sparklers.
